A Touch of Normalcy at BlackHorse

Monterey, California - Another packed field of Dragons and guests made their way to Blackhorse in Monterey.  Our golf tournaments are such an amazing vehicle to connect us socially.  What's better than seeing old friends, light and not so light ribbing, trying to take their money, and then having adult beverages after

Blackhorse is a short, hilly course with great views.  The greens were tricky, with some lightning fast, and others into the grain wouldn't get to the hole.  Low scores should probably be the norm.  In shocking news, Tom Yee only placed 3rd in the A flight with gross 80/net 74.  This still keeps him near the top of the Dragon Cup rankings, as he looks to capture his first. It looked like Chris Wongmight have a record day, shooting gross 37 and -3 on the front.  Golf gods took some back and Chris took second with 81/73.  There’s a new D.Lee in the house, as rookie Darryl Lee scooped low gross and 1st net with 79/72.

In the B flight, Jon Chong took 3rd in a card off with Mieko Sugimoto, shooting 88/77.  Rob Dang doing his thing, placing 2nd with 87/74.  Brittany Judoprasetijo secured 1st shooting a wonderful 88/71, for the only red number in the field.

Another successful tournament in the books, lots of steps towards normalcy.
Full field results are attached and winners will be contacted by Mike Gui for their prizes.
